Privacy Policy

Reflect is a journal for interns. Here's how your data is handled — in plain language.

Your entries are private

Your journal entries, moods, and tags are visible only to you. They are tied to your account and are never shown to other users or shared publicly.

What we store

We store your account details (name and email), a securely hashed password, and the entries you write — their content, mood, tags, and timestamps. We don't sell your data or use it for advertising.

AI summaries

If you generate a summary, your entries from the relevant period are processed to produce it. Summaries are stored against your account and are private to you, just like your entries.

Deleting your data

You can permanently delete all of your entries and summaries at any time from Settings → Your data. Deletion is immediate and can't be undone. You can also export everything as JSON first.

Security

Access is protected by authentication, and every read and write is scoped to your account. Sign-in and password-reset endpoints are rate-limited to deter abuse.
